Woah looking at the art style it looks like a free to play game.
Unless you're joking about picking it up for $10

Slash Hahah, word. I've watched a few hands-on previews and everyone always makes fun of their art style. It's, erm, unique. They're definitely embracing their B-Movie fighting game attitude.

The value is all in the gameplay. Oddly though they haven't put out a gameplay trailer in some time though... hmm. Maybe I can find a clip from a tournament.

You really have to understand the fighting game community to see the true brilliance of dive kick. Ive been watching this game at major and local tournaments and cant wait to finally get my hands on it.

Too cartoony???
...And you think Divekick should be a darker, grittier title? Well, I guess we're all entitled to opinions.

Looks great to me. Simplicity isn't necessarily a bad thing when it comes to fighting games. Despite my love for games like Blazblue and Guilty Gear, technicalities only take the focus off the true thrill of one-on-one combat: mind games.
