It's always interesting to see new blood helping out in video game voice acting. Such is the case with Daid Harewood and Jamie Gray Hyder, two actors lending their talents to Killzone: Shadow Fall as revealed by Sony earlier today. To be fair, I'm not familiar with either of them, though a quick search online reveals that Hyder is a veteran of the show True Blood and Harewood voiced Cpt. Quinton Cole in Battlefield 3. Yeah, erm, well I'm sure they'll both be great.
In reality experience levels don't really matter to most gamers when it comes down to it. All we want is for the characters in our games to be diverse and expressive, which according to the story teaser trailer for Killzone: Shadow Fall released today is most certain. While Killzone has typically not been known for its story in the past, its always had some very memorable characters.Hopefully Harewood and Hyder continue that trend.
Killzone: Shadow Fall is planned to be a launch title for the PlayStation 4, which is rumored to be released somewhere in November. Watch the teaser below and look forward to more information as we approach the fall. For instance, the cast so far includes robots, in addition to people.
