Update: The teasers have been revealed to be all but officially Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus. Err, make that officially:
Update: Day 2 and the teaser has now evolved into something that's quite obviously not referencing the Move or any PlayStation hardware. No, the new teaser adds to the text, becoming, "When Worlds Collide Heroes Return." In addition, in the teaser Insomniac Games' Twitter account is referenced. Oh me oh my.
Following that tweet from the PlayStation account, Insomniac themselves put out a similar tweet with the newly evolved teaser image showing a giant purple portal.
Big News coming tomorrow!!!!. When Worlds Collide…. Heroes Return: pic.twitter.com/CwLmOsRJNc— Insomniac Games (@insomniacgames) July 10, 2013
Currently Insomniac is working on Xbox One exclusive Sunset Overdrive, but does this mean Insomniac actually has two game? If so, are we looking at a teaser for what would just freaking have to be the next Ratchet & Clank game? Dear me I certainly hope so.
We find out tomorrow. Stay tuned.
Sony just put out a mysterious teaser image via Facebook and Twitter that should have gamers wondering if a new game is on the verge of announcement. The teaser, showing off an odd purple solar eclipse is highlighted by the text "When Worlds Collide" in addition to a lot of darkness. A lot. Seriously, the bottom half of the image is entirely black. I thought I saw the shadow of something, but it was just dust on my screen.
As for what this could be implying, well, who freaking knows. It seems like only the other week Namco Bandai put out a teaser showing off some stars and it turned out to be something completely different than everyone thought. Let's just sit back and enjoy the teasers this time, okay? ... ... Ah, I can't do it! It's The Last Guardian, right? Right. It doesn't make any sense and it's still just as likely as anything else!
I'd like to hope it's at least a teaser for something PlayStation 4 related. It looks a bit like the Move controller, right? Maybe a new version of Move on PS4? We'll see.
PS, if you listened to decent music in the 90's you'll remember this:
