It's here! The Grand Theft Auto V official gameplay trailer has just been released and it's, simply put, awesome. Welcome to Los Santos and the reimagined open world of souther California, in stylized satirical form. The size of the damn map is clearly huge even presented in a less-than-five-minute gameplay trailer. From driving the combat, it's great to see Grand Theft Auto in motion once again.
Rockstar states that significant upgrades have been made shooting and driving, which we see briefly, but also new systems for a variety of different situations have been added. From golf to tattooing, or even playing the stock market, it looks like we're not even scratching the surface of the meat of Grand Theft Auto V. Los Santos is a brave new world and Rockstar wants everyone to feel at home.
Grand Theft Auto V will be launching September 17 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Now that we've seen a little bit of single player gameplay, all recorded from in-game footage, how about some multiplayer? There's a tease for Grand Theft Auto Online at the end of the trailer, and trust me when I tell you it's not enough. Not nearly enough.
