Anyone else feel like it's been years since we last got to play The Walking Dead game? Five episodes stretched over a several months and already it feels like such a short and quickly passing experience. Like an old friend, it is. An old friend that's returning for a day and wants to grab lunch. The "400 Days" DLC launch starts today and we have a launch trailer to accompany it. What does that old friend want for lunch? Brains.
400 Days is meant to be about the length of a standard episode of The Walking Dead, telling five different stories at about 30-60 minutes each. How are they connected? Well, that will be apparent as we play, though Telltale has said there's a loose association with the gas station in the header image, Gil's Pitstop. Will the five protagonists meet? Will they survive? Will we care? I suppose we'll find out this week, won't we?
The Walking Dead's 400 Days DLC will be launching across almost all platforms this week, starting today on the PlayStation Network. Tomorrow it'll be available on PC, then Thursday for Xbox Live, and wrapping up the following Thursday with the iOS release. If anything, 400 Days will be a poignant reminder of what we're missing and make the wait until Season 2's launch later this year all the more unbearable. Thanks, Telltale!
