Saw "Dokuro" for Vita. Never heard of the game before.

Instantly thought it was the Dokuro-chan game, finally released westward. Got exited.

Googled it, found disappointment.

Also! "Free games every now and then aren't that big of a deal."

If that's true, ask Steam fanboys about "games on sale every now and then" and they'll flip out of how big a deal it is.

We all have that one friend with a butt load of benefits, but really likes to shoot down other mega-companies attempts at turning a profit.

Or is that just Sony?

EDIT: My god, I remember munch's Odyssey. I used to play that obsessively years ago. Hey Sony I <3 you send me a free PS3 like whenever. If you do, I promise I'll trash talk about Microsoft <3

Free games are a big deal.
Plus is well worth the price. I subscribed this year around January and here's a few games I got from it.

And that's just a few games. It's worth $50 for a year.

^ YEP! I've pretty much stop buying games after subscribing to PlayStation Plus. I've got more games than time to play them, sadly.

Unfortunately, I've already got the PC release of Battlefield 3, and already own the other two. I don't plan on having PS+ anymore, it is pretty pointless unless you plan to keep paying for it, as you must to keep the free games. However, it seems I will be picking it back up for the PS4. If I drop PS+ now, and start my subscription again when the PS4 comes out, do I get access to all the free games I've already downloaded?

People really love to throw "fanboy" around nowadays. If you appreciate a service, you're a "fanboy", right? I own, and love, a PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, am I a "fanboy" of all three? Perhaps I'm a PC "fanboy" because that's where I play most of my games? Steam is an excellent service, and offers sales every day, with entire catalogs going on sale for 50% off or less. I don't see what isn't awesome about such absurd sales.

I'm not into PS+ yet, For PS4, I'll but...Right now, In Sydney, EB, CEX, and JB are making a HUGE SALES that PS+ could NEVER hope to match/compete. Sorry PS+. Bought lots of physical copies lately

P.S. Universal Truth that might hurt for some digital fans: Physical copies are always 'ALWAYS' cheaper than overpriced digital games, thereby undermining the status of PS+.

Kinda odd that the EU update is usually better than the US update. Not that I'm complaining though. I've gotten more games from Plus than I ever would've bought at retail. Anybody without Plus is missing out.

Everyday I feel a bit more remorse for not signing up for PS+.
I really should just save up $60 for a year package.

It's totally worth it. I was subscribed for 3 months last summer, they literally filled my HDD with free stuff. I got more during that 3 months of PS+ than I got during 7 years of LIVE.

You don't necessarily own the games though, once your + runs out they just turn into useless husks until you renew it again. It's still a great deal nonetheless.

Dilweedle I remember having it for the two months they gave it to everyone for their PSN outage a few years back, and it was amazing. Got both PS1 Oddworld games and a few betas, which was pretty amazing. I don't mind really paying for it more to keep the free games, it's just more incentive for keeping it, but maybe I should wait for the PS4 to come out before becoming committed to it.

Nah, I don't mind either, just giving you a heads up because I didn't know that when I subbed. I've got Just Cause 2 and Warhammer 40k waiting on me whenever I renew it.

But yeah, if you're getting a PS4 I'd wait for it before dropping the $50. Supposedly if you subscribe on one of the three (PS3, PS4, or Vita) you're subbed on all of them. Wait for the PS4 and you can reap the rewards from all of them at once, that'd be pretty cool.
