Wow, they are really coming back on everything they said. I wanna see a livestream of this when it happens just to see exactly what they say. They've got a lot of mud on their shoes to deal with.

No kidding. If they don't do something soon they'll be losing a lot of people.

pichulover92 - I'd say they've already lost a lot of people and they're just now realizing it. If they continue with this they might recuperate a small portion of what they lost.

Instead of saying "If you don't have internet, keep your 360" they could have just said *bleep* you, many people would have still taken it the same way. xD

Either way, I'm still an Xbox fan. Just... never been big on PS's. Eh.

Smart Microsoft, smart... Garner bad hype before the new console reveal, and then confirm everyone's fears during the reveal. Now scrap the entire console amd release press statements to show the Microsoft "listens" to the gamers. Then you gain all the hype and praise, sell a large quantity of consoles. Finally, when all is said and done, slowly reintegrate Xbox One policies... They'll never see it coming!

Yeah, that never really made sense to me either, I thought they were trying to promote their new product lol. Technology syndrome always applies, the 360 will be obsolete sooner or later and there's no avoiding that, so I don't really see were they were going with that in all

If Microsoft would allow self-publishing for indie developers, I wouldn't have a single complaint against the system (despite Microsoft's questionable DRM choices. That could mean a DayZ Standalone release for the One and, knowing the general Live crowd pretty well, some interesting encounters. While I generally prefer to play on PC, LIVE's servers and population could mean great things for DayZ, and countless other multiplayer indie titles.

Maybe it has something to do with Microsoft owning the rights versus lending third-party developers the ability to do so. Or maybe they are just completely overlooking them.
