Same Shiris, same! The system overall is a neat idea, but just, building kits that have synergy is really not as fluid or open as it felt like it should be. Don't even get me started on Traits, there's only like 3 I ever found useful within Engineer. I'll be looking forward to changes on that front, as well as Anet's changes to stunlock accessibility.

Monocle is an already available item, starting gear for Human Engineers (dunno about other races) provided you choose the correct option at character select. Awesome piece of equipment tbh, love it. Though the current one is much more...tech-y, not so posh (I like it better anyway, but to each their own).

Overall, really liking this news. Maybe the new dungeon will launch with a LFG queue?

Finally! Looks like I might come back to GW2 now. They've been needing a proper trait overhaul for a long time. Well at least I've got a MMORPG to play again.

I was playing Neverwinter, but started getting bored, got hopeful when they went "Live" yesterday... to find the new content they released is on a timer. Not logged on when it's up? Tough. You get nothing.

I think your hope for a LFG system is probably going to get crushed when it goes live. It's nice that they are finally overhauling traits because for many classes they really weren't that interesting at all.

I hope they don't totally overhaul the system. It would completely screw over those of us with more than one lvl 80 geared for existing builds/metas. I do think, however, they could really do a lot if they just improved upon the system by adding to it.

Just don't make existing content obsolete.

I think that if they do it right, a condition build should still work afterwards, same with toughness or healing builds etc. But that's an 'if', I don't know if ArenaNet is that great at balancing these things. They have probably learned a bunch from the months that GW2 has been running.

They were really great balancing classes and skills in GW1, but... it's been a while since then.
