The Xbox One delivers thousands of dollars of value... to us. Especially after you have to constantly pay us so that you stay on Gold and play with your friends!

Thousands of dollars of value? What, it's free to play online, now?

Also like to point out when buying the console at launch, $499 for the console+ $59.99 for XBL+ $59.99 for at least one game= $618.98 before tax, while the PS4 $399+ an optional 49.99 for PS+ (only if you want mulitplayer access and free monthly games)+ $59.99 for one game= $508.98 with PS+ while $458.99 without PS+ all before taxes. Correct anything if I'm wrong or something. So PS4 still a better deal than the Xbox One.

In the spirit of fairness, you can't make the cost of XBL mandatory (XBL Silver is free, and that's all you need to play single player games.) and then make it optional on PS4.

Any way you slice it, the PS4 is still $100 cheaper, which is a huge victory for Sony (amongst all the other victories they garnered at E3.) But it is not over $100 cheaper. PS+ is just as mandatory as XBL is now, although PS+ is $10 cheaper (but you can also find XBL for $50 pretty much everywhere online, if not cheaper.)

Having said that, Sony is still winning.

I get what Mattrick is trying to say, but really.. value is a subjective word. The policies of the Xbox One devalue the console to many people to the point where it isn't worth a single cent.

Not sure if its only for preorders but you receive a free year of XBL when you buy an Xbox One.

However. Sony gives you free games and a buttload of discounts with PS+.

yeah you have a choice in XBL but with a silver version you have only access to singleplayer games and the store only, while on PS4 you don't need PS+ to watch Netflix and other apps.
