As many already guessed, Dragon Age: Inquisition -- formerly Dragon Age III -- made its debut today at E3 during EA's press event. No gameplay sadly, but we do know that the game is heading to both current and next generation consoles. Plenty of characters will be returning as well, and the events of both Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age II will come into play.
In the CG trailer, we see both Morrigan and Varric make an appearance. Heck, the witch is actually narrating. Also shown is a horned Qunari, who may or may not be Sten. Granted, he didn't have horns, but who knows at this point what the Qunari are supposed to look like. We also see Cassandra, a Seeker of the Chantry who appeared in the second game speaking to Varric. She's apparenty leading the Seekers against Kirkwall at one point, right before the sky rips open to spew out a bunch of nasty creatures. Definitely some new enemies in there we haven't seen before.
Perhaps this game will be the game that Dragon Age II failed to be. Here's hoping the recycled dungeons will be gone. We can think of a few other mistakes BioWare could stand to fix as well.
