Finally, someone got right that it was Morrigan narrating the whole time! On other sites apparently they thought it was Flemeth up until the point Morrigan talks. In the trailer the voice doesn't change!

Go figure.

But still excited for the game.

Without a doubt, this is how I dreamed Dragon Age would continue after the first game. I'm just going to pretend DA2 didn't happen, and a I hope BioWare does too.

I disagree, a lot, DA2 dungeon and exploring it failed it, but story? top notch, the mage-templar war that was unleashed actually added depth to a bland world, the warden only helped those around him and not every action had an important consecuence, here DA2 shows that hawke decision whatever it was had bigger repercussions, not only that but it also showed an intresting addition, as in ME you can build your character in terms of personality, this with voice over makes the character more linkable, it also refined DA1 combat system and turned off friendly fire sans for the maximum difficulty, tell me why the hate?

bluexy Not going to happen. The fact that Kirkwall and Varric are in the trailer means DA2 is actually a thing. As is Cassandra and the Seekers.

Duncan Idaho I was a huge fan of the world and storytelling of the first game. Basically thought that what BioWare turned the second game was antithetical to the purpose and themes of the original. I couldn't get over what I felt emotionally in tune with from my experiences in trade for Hawk and his merry band of potential romances.

I fell the original way too lacking, DA2 refined it a lot in terms of gameplay and the story wasnt as good or great as all people think, there are a few issues with the narrative and with the gameplay too, and despite them being potential romances sans varric, they are also potential friends, i cringed at hawke's mother death, not to mention that the decisions of the warden do not come in effect until some time after his dissapearance, on the other hand decisions made by hawke have inmediate repercussions and ultimatley decide the fate or kirkwall, which i also found intresting, it's a former tentiver city it's the equivalnet of the ruins of en'gha of eternal darkness a giant magic booster.

I'm pretty sure it's not Kirkwall, Cassandra is attacking a Grey Warden Fort. Presumably in Orlais because when she stabs the map before the invasion the map is largely Orlais.

DA2 was not as good as DA:O. It felt, in a lot of ways, unfinished; the gameplay was altered in such a way that it felt far more gamey and simplistic; and while the story was interesting, it was framed poorly game design-wise, and did indeed feel thematically divergent, as bluexy says. A great number of mechanics from Origins making their return, from influence through romance and onwards to a larger, more diverse world, would be a far more preferable occurrence than following too closely in DA2's shoes.

The game has already been confirmed to be taking place in Orlais, for the record, and the idea the seekers were going to be played has been known for a while. I'm looking forward to seeing Morrigan again, been missing her since The Witch Hunt DLC for Origins, and I cannot wait to know what she has been doing this entire time. More wondering what was going on with the sky; I remember there being a storm when the last Archdemon was killed, but I don't remember it raining fire. It looks like one of the remaining two old Gods has been awakened?
