The subtitle should be changed to "so much qte's"

Everything bar the actual game play looks fantastic. Not even asuras wrath and re6 combined had that many.

Yeah, I'm with DedValve - Every fight giving QTEs is just sacrificing extra gameplay mechanics for cinematic kills. QTEs are fine in some cases, but it's just a bit much there.

On the other hand, game looks gorgeous.

Yeah, the extreme reliance on QTEs is a bit much in my book. Looks great other than those.

Never have I been so excited to see the fake-British accent in a Roman game. *grins*

This looks really cool, kind of shocked to actually see a trailer with gameplay in it (heresy!) but also nice to see a new kind of over-the-top third person slasher come about; most of the ones coming out are part of far too long-running franchises, imo, and Ryse fills in nicely with it's transition to it.

This is one of the few games leaning me towards an Xbox One. It looks so awesome and intense, urgh, I just want to play a demo right now @_@

Seriously Rayce? Do you even enjoy playing games? Because it sure doesn't look like there will be much gameplay in this.

What? This game looks so sick, leading a Roman phalanx in a full-body viewing mode with those graphics looks so amazing. Add that to Halo and Quantum Break and you've got me actually considering the Xbox One. I'm in it to have a good time, man. That's why I enjoy gaming.

The graphics look amazing, but the gameplay looks non existent, unless you're a fan of constant quick time events instead of real actual gameplay?

Quick thematic trailers enhance most games in my opinion; I know when I was playing Medal of Honor: Warfighter, the story line with the trailers made it almost like a movie plot line, and seriously made the game so much more worth playing. In short, I like thematic scenes when they enhance the game.

But from what we have seen the only gameplay is movement and "press *button* now!" QTEs, how is that even fun?

From what I can see, it looks like the main player is moving on his own most of the time; I could be wrong. I do admit there are a lot of cut scenes, but I'm hopeful because it does look like there is some control being exercised.

During a post-Microsoft conference interview, Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli explained the combat was sped up in the trailer, so everything won't be one or two hits and then QTE execution.
I know how you feel, but hopefully, based on this statement, the combat will be a bit more in-depth when the full release comes closer.
