I have more than ten family members. This is bs.
I hope Sony doesn't follow them. If they do then I guess it's time for me to be a PC gamer. :/

Oh, look, Microsoft finally decided to do what they should have done in the first place! By releasing cold drowned by pr speak hard very ambiguous information that can dispel the rumors, misinformation and lack of information.

Too bad that information still sucks. Hooray for anti-consumer DRM and the infinite power of the cloud! WiiU/PC seems like the only way to go. Maybe I'll bite on a PS4 years down the line near the end of its cycle.

I don't understand why Microsoft would do this. There doesn't appear to be the level of perosnal benefit I was expecting.

With the 10 family member sharing, how exactly does that work? Like, can my friend play the copy I purchased on a different xbox (one in his house) or did I just misinterpret that? Cause that sounds quite generous.

But, the rest is all shit.

It sounds like they are trying to please everyone with the used game idea. They're trying to keep alive the common use for the used game but at the same time try to get the publishers and developers in on some money for it.

I like the idea but it's sounding like a big complicated mess to keep track of.

Congratulations Sony for winning the console war before it even began, although it still doesn't beat the PC as a gaming platform imo.

That isn't new. I'm not sure about the 360 but on my PS3 if I buy a game digitally then my friend can log on to my account from his house and download the games well and is able to play it on his own account.

As I said in the other thread, I like it. I don't buy pre-owned games, I don't sell games, I'm always near an internet connection and now I can play all my games without changing discs, plus if I choose to I can download it first day. Sharing if they're using my console it works, I can tie my account to my friends again like I did to get cheap Xbox live.
