Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 4 marks the series finale of Penny Arcade's very own game series, and we're sure many fans are sad to see it go. Today, indie developer Zeboyd Games revealed that the fourth episode will be out on Friday -- as will a new trailer.
Zeboyd, for those unaware, is the studio that took up Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness when the series was virtually dead, namely due to poor marketing and general lack of awareness. Then, when Zeboyd Games took up the mantle, they gave the series a retro facelift, giving it an old school RPG feel that seemed to resonate with Penny Arcade fans.
Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 3 came out late June last year, so it's been nearly a year since then. On Friday, we can bid the series a fond farewell with the final installment. Until then, here's an older trailer that was released in March. Screenshots can be found after the break.
