Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs was originally slated for release in January earlier this year. However, Frictional Games partnership with thechineseroom changed the game in a myriad of ways and the project became something more. Delays were never announced, but we as fans understand that for every extra day of development the game would be that much better. It's easier to be patient when you're terrified of playing an upcoming game.
This statement from Frictional Games' Jens may be the most frightening thing meant to be friendly I've heard in quite some time:
"We know we will not make Q2, we also know when the game will be ready for launch. We have not set the exact day yet. You can however make good use of the weather outside this summer and look forward to gaming with the piggies as the summer comes to an end."
I, sir, do not want to be gaming with the piggies. Simply calling them "the piggies" makes me cringe in a way I'd rather not describe. Add in the fact that we saw a glimpse of one of said piggies in an earlier trailer and, well, thanks Frictional Games, I'm going to have nightmares now.
Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs is planned for release in Q3 later this year. Oh man I hope it's not Halloween. I can't do this anymore.
