Update: Fourth day, fourth teaser. Today's comes from Day 236, which I believe implies we're getting to the end of this run of teasers. Another picture added to the bulletin board, as well as a second flash of neon numbers. Together the two flashes combine to say what I believe is 400, though I could absolutely be wrong. 400 days after Z? Room 400 at a hotel? What could it mean?
Come on, Telltale, let's get to the announcement. What's next for The Walking Dead?
Update: The third teaser in three days has just been released, this one just as lacking in information as the previous two. Another face gets added to the bulletin board, though it's clear now this is a place where missing people are being posted. There is, however, a brief flash of what looks like a number. It looks like a neon sign reading "4 0" though it's not really clear enough to read anything beyond the four.
As DedValve pointed out yesterday, the second teaser clearly referenced Savannah, Georgia where part of The Walking Dead took place. It's just a matter of time before Tell tale tells us what they've got in store for the franchise next.
Update: Telltale Games has released a second teaser for what's increasingly looking like a project related to The Walking Dead. The first trailer was labeled "Day 2" and now the second is labeled "Day 220". What comes next? Again, the teaser shows a person, potentially the same judging from their skin color, putting a photo on some sort of bulletin board. It's a different person than before, but that does nothing to answer the mystery of what exactly is going on.
Watch this The Walking Dead teaser for yourself, and expect more teasers shortly followed by an announcement leading into E3.
Next-gen be afraid, be very afraid. The king has returned to claim his throne. Telltale Games has just released a teaser, via the gif-with-audio service Vine, that looks oddly like it came from The Walking Dead. Could E3 have an impending The Walking Dead Season 2 announcement in store for us? Are we really prepared for a Walking Dead Season 2 announcement?
Released via Telltale Games' Twitter account, the Vine shows someone looking at what must be a bulletin board of some kind. Three photos are shown during the short video, one of which looks like it could potentially be Christa from season one, but otherwise it's hard to tell. The tweet with the Vine link reads, "Day 2." It makes perfect sense then that the bulletin board is being used by survivors looking for loved ones on the second day after the zombie outbreak.
Who is Vince, whose picture was tacked on the board? Whose hand is it that posted Vince's photo there? Who am I to judge what the oh powerful Telltale Games is doing with what could be the oh wonderful The Walking Dead adventure game franchise? Tune in to E3, starting June 11, for more information (or hopefully sooner).
Or is this potentially what writer Gary Whitta refered to as, "something extra," before The Walking Dead's Season 2?
