Dark Souls II now has a targeted release window. According to a giant banner now stuck to the wall of the Los Angeles Convention Center, where E3 will begin next week, expect Dark Souls II on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC in March, 2014. While hardly a press release, you really can't get more official than a giant banner stuck to the wall at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
However, the question remains as to whether or not Dark Souls II will remain a current-gen and PC exclusive. It was previously revealed that Dark Souls II's primary platform would be the PC, which hardware buffs should understand means it's probably more of a problem to port the game to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 than it would for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. March 2014 is a long ways off, could E3 have some surprising revelations for Dark Souls fans?
One way or another, we expect to have Dark Souls II impressions ready this E3. Is it the same? Is it better? E3 starts on June 11 and if Dark Souls II isn't one of the best games at show, I'll eat my hat. Dark Souls II, to be released March, 2014.
