No surprise, as it's been rumored since the game was officially launched, but Scorpion has been confirmed as Injustice: Gods Among Us' next DLC character. Designed by Jim Lee, co-publisher at DC Entertainment, Scorpion will be showing off his skull soon -- release date to be announced later this week. Also making an appearance and the end of the Scorpion trailer? None other than Martian Manhunter.
Ed Boon, being one of the most community-oriented Creative Directors out there, has been doing a small-scale question and answer session on Twitter today. The biggest details he's dropped? There's more DLC on the way, including both skins and characters... err, maybe that's just character:

In typical Ed Boon fashion, that's just his way of saying that all he can really confirm (before PR throttles his neck) is one more character -- Martian Manhunter. However, you'll recall that Boon recently held a poll to see whether fans would be excited for even more DLC character and who they'd want. He's been vocal on Twitter about possibly including these characters, like Super Girl, Zod, or Zatanna. He did state very clearly that there won't be any more crossover characters. Chill out for a while, Sub-Zero.
Injustice: Gods Among Us is currently available across the spectrum of currently available platforms. Scorpion's release will be announced later this week, though we'd expect it to be very soon, as he's likely just caught up in Microsoft and Sony's digital content licensing insanity. Pick up Mortal Kombat's favored son for around $5 or 400 MSP.
