Fuse may not be the hit of the year, but developer Insomniac Games has faith in what they've made. This co-op shooter bears enough potential, apparently, for Insomniac to further develop the IP into more than just a single game. They're not just talking about DLC, either.
Insomniac CEO Ted Price commented on their plans for the future of Fuse, speaking of "new experiences" or something along those lines.
"We've already begun expanding what we've begun with Fuse. Right now as I write this we're taking the core concepts behind Fuse and prototyping new stuff ... stuff that leverages this bizarre alien substance which is at the heart of the game. No, I'm not talking about DLC. I'm talking about new Fuse experiences altogether. What's wonderful about creating and owning one's IP is that you can take it any direction you want. And that's what we're going to do. Stay tuned!"
Well, best of luck to them. Fuse hasn't exactly received high praises since it launched this week.
Still, a new trailer accompanied the game's release, one in which Insomniac shares a few of their tips and tricks for this sci-fi co-op oriented action shooter.
