So, in other words, instead of boring us all to death with PR talk and terrible stage demos, we get a video that gets straight to all the good stuff we want to actually see, namely games. Why exactly was I upset that Nintendo wasn't doing a presser again?

Most excited to see new 3D Mario game really excited to see that I hope they take it out of space though galaxy was fun I just would like a return to like regular Mario land. Than of course SSB I can't wait for that either. Mario Kart will be nice to see in HD finally. I also want to see more of Wonderful 101 really bad, and that new Sonic title. I just wanna see a lot from Nintendo point blank.

So that's 10 AM EST, correct?

And I told ya'll not to worry. I didn't understand why people were getting so upset and panicking that Nintendo was cutting all the PR crap and dedicating more time to games. This is the best thing they could have done.

Now all they have to do is actually deliver with some impressive looking games.

Smash Bros. and hopefully some unknowns are what I'm most excited to see. I'll probably end up with Mario regardless, so while I'm interested in seeing it I'm not massively hyped. I'm interested to see what Retro has been up to as well, hopefully we'll see something from them.

FTFY.
Never doubt Nintendo. They made the Wii work for god's sake. This may well prove to be a good way to go in the future. Possible disappointment though for those small moments when the crowd gets super excited and we get to watch it.

Remember the Twilight princess reveal? Who DOESN'T remember that feeling? Who doesn't tear up when they watch that?

Oh well. They ended the spiral of putting on a circus each year to try and placate shareholders and consumers alike in one hour. Probably for the best.

I can't help but agree, as rocky as things are right now for the Wii U I think it could very well turn around. Nintendo needs to make some really exciting announcements to their upcoming games, and show us what we all want.

I have no doubt that the Wii U can be easily turned around, but that's fully up to Nintendo.

I almost forgot about that bbb7002004. I'm pretty curious to see what Retro is working on. Hopefully something new or a F-Zero/Star Fox game.

I would really enjoy seeing a new Star Fox game announced for the Wii U at some point. Should be awesome playing in HD.

That moment will always give me goosebumps. But realistically speaking, E3 of 2004 was so much different than E3 of 2013. Intimate/emotional moments like that just aren't possible with the way E3 is set up nowadays. It's much too large-scale and commercial now.

As for the things I'm looking foward to seeing the most:
  • Zelda: Wind Waker HD (Wii U)
  • Zelda: A Link to the Past 2 (3DS)
  • Super Mario 3D (Wii U)
  • Mario Kart U (Wii U)
  • Super Smash Bros 4 (Wii U/3DS)
  • Project Retro Studios (Wii U)
And hopefully, my most anticipated of all:
  • Zelda 2014 (Wii U)
