Excuse me, but didn't Sony confirm PS4 WILL be backwards compatible?
Wait you mean the PS4 right? The PS4 isn't, but Sony did say they would try to make digital PS3 games playable on the PS4.
Ah yes, now I understand. *tips hat* Thank you sir.

This is why I'm sticking to my 360 and free MMO games on the PC, the PS4 and Xbox 360 Minus 359 just doesn't seem too appealing to me.

Thought I am curious about this Sega Spectrum that's coming out though...

I'm glad PS4 is being released, because this will have to do with everything except for sports, Call of Duty and TV streaming.

You do realize that Call of Duty and sports games will also be on the PS4, right?

Rude_Boy_Loves_SKA is right. Call of Duty games and sports games will be on the PS4. Those are not Microsoft exclusives. And you can stream Netflix or Hulu on your PS4, so yeah you can pretty much do TV streaming.

But if I do decide that I want to watch actual TV, it really isn't so much of a challenge for me to switch to my DirecTV that I need voice commands to watch it through my gaming system. I can manage without that, it's not as if I'll be driving when I watch TV.

I know, I was trying to discourage myself from buying Xbox One by watching a video called Xbox One reveal in a nutshell. Watch it here:

sonicfan7895 Haha that video was hilarious. And so true. It's all about TV and voice commands and not about gaming. Their main showcased game was a Call of Duty game which won't even be an exclusive. Seriously, they had to know that no one would be excited for this console. If you want to call it that. Maybe a more accurate name for it is "television."

Well, to be fair- the "Console Reveal" was to, well... reveal the console. Games and exclusives weren't supposed to be the highlight. Of course it's going to play games- everyone knows that. But they wanted to show the non-gaming aspects it had as well.
I'm not saying it wasn't lackluster, just that people missed the point entirely.

There's nothing wrong with trying to expand an audience. I remember when the PS3 came out, I sold a crapload of those to people who would never buy a video game in their lives because it was a (relatively) cheap Blu-Ray player.
