Man, what an impressive starting lineup of games.
As if that's unusual? Launch lineups always suck.
Really? If I recall correctly, PS4 has some pretty good launch games. Killzone: Shadow Fall, Driveclub, and Watch Dogs. Plus, amazing-looking games like inFamous: Second Son and Knack are expected not soon after that.

Btw I'm not even gonna get an xbox one but I'm not gonna sit here and let the fanboys talk shit out of their asses either. PS Move won't be optional either, or are we suddenly developing a case of amnesia?

We don't even know if Sony are gonna stick with the free to play online thing so your point there is just a guess.

Aye mate voice command is damn near cool, almost as cool as that share button amirite?
So really your only decent point is used games and we're not even sure if the developers will let the used games run on it so really all you've done is wasted both of our time.

Now please either stay away from the xbox one threads/news articles if you're just gonna talk shit or make some valid points.
The Playstation Eye and Move have been confirmed to come bundled with the PS4, but that's not the same thing as being integrated.

Yeah, I suppose I don't know if PSN is going to be free, so you have a point there.

I'd rather have the share button. Will I ever use it? Hard to say. But I think being able to share your last few minutes of gameplay (especially if you just had an awesome kill streak) is more useful than something I can just do with the controller anyway (voice command).

Also, you skimmed over my point about how this thing looks more like a social media device than a gaming console. And about how TV isn't so hard to watch that I need a voice-command gaming system to do it.

And skimmed my point about how Xbox One doesn't have any good games, or at least any that I can't get on other consoles.

I thought these points were pretty valid, although I did present them satirically, so I guess it kind of seemed like talking s**t. That wasn't really my intention. All I'm saying is that the only thing about the Xbox One that even remotely impresses me is the Skype stuff. With everything else, Sony takes the cake by a long-shot. At least for me personally. I respect that you have your own opinions, but I wasn't expecting all of my arguments to be taken as undeniable facts. You can buy whatever console you want, I'm just reserving my own opinion that buying the Xbox One would be a waste of money.

What a great way to put people off buying it until there are enough games to comfortably own on the new console. Idiots.

Well this has been quiet a surprise by all. I will have to agree with the negative comments on this matter. But at the same time have much respect for both the PS4 & XBOX ONE. Lets all wait and see what E3 has in-store for all of us. Than we can really put our facts right on were each one stands & if any at all are worth our hard earn money.

Wow, just when I thought things couldn't go any worse, they don't allow backwards compatibility. I would have loved pulling out some older games to see how they run on the Xbox One, but what do you know, can't do that. Another reason I won't get this console.
that's another thing, are people really that bothered about no backwards compatibility? just keep your 360. why should they hold back a console just so you can play your older games when i'm sure your current console runs them just fine. not to mention, the playstation 4 doesn't have it either.

When I buy a new console, I always sell the older version of it so I can get even more with the new version. With the amount of money I make, I need everything I can get. It just makes sense that with the amount of power this thing can push out they would be shipping the thing with Backwards compatibility by default.

Hopefully this is the last iteration of the console trying to transmogrify into a PC, so that all future games can be backwards compatible. One of the things I love about the PC, is I can throw in WarCraft II, or King's Quest, or *bleep*ing Lemmings 1 on a Windows 8 machine, games that came out like 15, 20 years ago still play and install fine. Older games work with DosBox.

It's a hardware limitation. That being said I don't know if there's a way they could create some kind of emulation software that would allow 360 games to play in the future if that's even possible.

360 did it with original XBox games, why wouldn't that be possible here? They're the creators of that type of software (Unsure exactly what the 360 runs at the moment). They have their own software that enables them to run 360 games on PC's for beta testing and such (See the CoD Ghosts thing from the reveal yesterday). Highly doubt it isn't possible, a software giant like Microsoft could easily do something about it.

But ya know, we'd rather have voice control and television than the ability to play games from a console that's still has developers up the ass.

Its just not practical. Its the same reason Sony pulled support for BC with the PS3.

sorry, you can't really blame microsoft for your low income that you can't keep your old console and buy a new one, just wait?

I've been around the web reading different topics lately, and I really don't hope people are expecting a $399-$499 price tag lol for PS4 or ONE, because people really are guessing that will be an american price tag, and I'm just boggled. At the least these consoles will be $599 that's how much their tech is worth.

Anyone know why exactly MS is charging for letting someone borrow your game? My best guess is that you don't need the disc in the drive to play anymore and it's stops people from circling discs around and not have to pay for games.
