I'm so conflicted about this.

On one hand, Assassin's Creed has already been milked to death. And I haven't touched a game-movie since the first Silent Hill.

On the other hand... FASSBENDER. Nrrrgh!
I am going to watch it just for the cast... after "Shame" Fassbender rose to my eyes a lot (iykwim...)

I wonder which game they will rehash? Absolutely nothing has been revealed about the film other than Fassbender's involvement. It would make sense to start with AC1, but if they leave out the modern day aspect (which I think will be the case) then it would make more sense to start with AC2, as the Ezio trilogy lends itself well to a trilogy of films.

Of course, what's to say that the film won't tell a new story within the AC Universe? It's extremely unlikely, but seeing as most people won't have a clue about any of the AC story anyway they could always just go with telling the story of a new protagonist. That Juno ending still needs resolving...

Fassbender is a great actor and all but he doesn't seem like the right guy to play Altair in my opinion. Most definitely too damn white.

Wait I don't get it shouldn't Desmond and Altair be of middle eastern descent? Fassbender looks as white as they come.
The first thought that came to my mind with Fassbender in an Assassins Creed movie was Daniel Cross.

** I personally like the new Star Wars movies, in spite of Jar Jar Binks.
Shh! We all know you'll be there to see the Disney child actors in the new star wars films.
There weren't any Disney child actors in Avengers or Iron Man 3, were there?.
Dont ruin it for me.

I'll see it because I love the AC series, but with very low expectations.

I'm a fan of Fassbender. In my opinion he is a great actor and I loved him in Centurion and he was the only reason I watched Prometheus.

I'm glad movie companies don't make movies out of games with good stories.
