Keep in mind this is just an early report, guys, and that all details aren't know and potentially can change between now and when official word hits.

I've never used nor wanted to pay for Microsoft points, it would be awesome if they just scrapped the idea completely.
Wouldn't happen, if there is a buck to be made, Microsoft will be all over that. One thing about Xbox is loyalty to customers isn't that great. Cash grabbing is however.

In a sense it is good, I always hated how I had to spend money to buy stuff then be left over with points I couldn't use on anything I wanted. Only thing that this would hurt would be the ability to get free points for doing things.

Yeah, what the H? Bing Rewards is ending? I certainly hope this isn't true and they keep the points around... I too hate how there's always some leftover after buying something... But I like how you don't have to have a credit card to buy and download games... And with Bing Rewards I haven't spent a dime on MSP since last year.

Wasn't everyone just complaining about MSPs being a ripoff? How you had to buy more than you needed all the time?

I hope they do go away with them. They were originally to be used as a currency through all of Microsoft's platforms. Hey, guess what also is universal through all platforms? Actual *bleep*ing currency.
