The last 12 months have been fairly kind to Ubisoft, as the French publisher reports a hefty gain in the fiscal year ending March 31, 2013. Some highlights? €1.256 billion ($1.615 billion) in revenue and €64.8 million ($83.3 million) in profits over the course of the last year is certain nothing to scoff at.
All of that comes down to a significant year-on-year gain for both revenue and profit. Revenue saw an 18.3% year-on-year increase from €1.061 billion ($1.364 billion), while profits rose 73.7% from €37.3 million ($47.9 million) in 2012.
Ubisoft credits its success to strong franchises like Far Cry, Just Dance, and Assassin's Creed. Yeah, we're not surprised at all, especially considering each of the latest entries shipped millions of copies. Far Cry 3, for its part, comes in at 6 million units sold, digital or otherwise.
