They should leave it where it is, not try to revive it again. I can't see myself wanting anything to do with a sequel.

Here I am ready to type up a tl;dr essay on why the Mass Effect series is the biggest missed opportunity that could have possibly rivaled if not surpassed Star Wars in the sci-fi department but was dashed due to an ending so terrible that the creator doesn't even know how to fix it without massive retconning and then still insists that it was only a minority who "THINKS" its bad when it is objectively terrible in terms of writing that any sane, person that understands english literature can see a mile away and Thm and S-I-E inadvertently come up with the perfect analogy of the entire series in one fell swoop.

Mass Effect is a Blue Star, not a red one. Extremely vibrant and promising future dashed by the inevitability of an incredibly short life.

post it anyway, i am curious on your toughts, i never finished ME 1 due to massive lag, and the huge pain in the ass it's to run it on windows 7.

They can do whatever they wish with the franchise at this point. As for me, Mass Effect has always been Shepard's story, and now that Shep's gone, I'm okay with ending that chapter of my gaming life.

The Mass Effect universe is uh massive! and so many choices where to start! though I would love to see either a krogan or quarian story those really interest me, even add some DLC with Anderson being the first human specter, so many choices!

So much ME hate.
Was I the only one who chose the 'correct' ending? I'd just spent 3 games trying to destroy the reapers, there was no way I was not going to wipe them out at the end, screw the long term consequences. And guess what, everyone got a happy ending (though I admit that wasn't entirely clear initally).

Garrus is great, I'd love to see more of his story.

I wish I had view like that...In front of a red dying star
the mass effect series pretty much look like a dying star to me but if i were you i wouldn't stay around too long they may try to sell you upcoming titles such as super shepard kart

pre-order now and receive early access to the protean kart exclusive backstory. watch malik moan 24/7 like a depressed senior about his cycle while a desperate thresher maw is trying to mate with his racecar.

Mm. The Kai Leng backstory, you know.. kind of ranks all the way up there with "Thresher Maw Dune Patrol for Thousand Years", "Rock Adrift in Nebula", and "The Evolution of Amoeba Defrosting One Second Each Summer on Helium Ice Planet".

Would love to see those. And tell EA I'd pay triple times the full price of the game if they meted out each of these as dlc extensions for the full game: "The Moons of Ihlari Really Excite Me". About the tempestous but ultimately tragically doomed relationship between a Volus and a meat-eating plant shaped like a wallet.

Well and truely done? With an ending that gave no closure? I really don't see how the story can be done when you don't know anything past what immediately happens.

A prequel is so pointless, everyone is gonna end up dying, half machine or ruled by a machine-god overlord. Who gives a crap when all that shit ends up happening
