Ubisoft Reflections last game that was solely developed in-studio was Driver: San Francisco. Since then they've co-developed a number of games, from Just Dance 3 and 4 to Far Cry 3 and now Watch Dogs. However, according to Managing Director Pauline Jacquey, they've got another game lined up for announcement at E3. While it's not clear whether the new game is solely developed by Ubisoft Reflections or also a collaboration, who cares? Add this to the E3 announcement list, please.
Jacquey gave the following quote while speaking at the UK Game Horizons conference:
"We work on Watch Dogs. We work on [Just Dance 4], and we work on something that I'm not supposed to tell you about. I wish that I could. It's going to be announced at E3."
As the developers of pretty staggeringly impressive driving games as Driver: San Francisco, it's no surprise Ubisoft wants them involved in their other big titles that involve driving. Why settle for less, right? Still, it'd be great to see what Ubisoft Reflections might have been working on by themselves.
Of course, in the past Ubisoft Reflections have said they're still interested in free-to-play, digital and mobile games, so perhaps it's still too early to guess what secrets they're keeping. And by too early I'm going to call it now and say they're making a new Driver game. Put that on your E3 bingo board! It's almost E3, it's about time we start up the rampant and ridiculous speculation.
