Not surprising, really. The bigger and more wealthier a gaming company becomes, the greedier they get. EA is a prime example of a once-great company now turned money-hungry corporation. Ubisoft is just like them. They forget their once humble roots and the people who helped get them to where they are today. Once they have control they just push aside anyone who disagrees with them and gets in their way. They have no respect for anyone, and are only after money money money. They don't need this guy anymore and if he doesn't like what their doing with essentially HIS series, why keep him around? Because he made them filthy rich? Because he deserves respect as a human being? Because he CREATED the damn game? No. He isn't essential anymore so they'll toss him out the door. One less employee to pay and one less to argue with.

A boycott on Black Flag to get this guy his job and series back would be pretty incredible, just to show our support of all the hard work he has put in. Boycotts don't happen anymore, sadly. I would be a willing participant though.

"I intend to fight Ubisoft vigorously for my rights, for my team and for my game."
Just to point out, I'm 99% sure he was referring to the game his team was working on when he was terminated, not AC.
