Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon may be just a week old, but it may not be a one-time, neon fueled spin-off. The game's creative director, Dean Evans, is apparently in talks with Ubisoft on a sequel to Blood Dragon, at least according to Michael Biehn. Biehn provides the voice for Blood Dragon's main character, so it's perfectly logical to think he'd return in any sequel.
In a recent interview, Biehn had the following to say about a possible sequel:
Dean was with me on the phone last night. He was pretty jacked up. He was going into a meeting today. I think he wants to turn it [Blood Dragon] into some sort of franchise. He’s got a sequel in mind.
A franchise for Blood Dragon would certainly be interesting, if Ubisoft gives the go ahead. There's a lot of ways a sequel could go, especially if it aims for the over-the-top route some '80s action movies took. More neon, more explosions, more dragons, and oh yes, more Michael Biehn shooting his way through an island. We'll just have to see what Ubisoft decides for it.
