In recent weeks Bethesda pushed out The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim's 1.9 patch to all platforms and then released a heartfelt "thank you" to fans, stating they'd wrapped up development of the game. Tears were shed and of course fans screamed for more DLC, but what's done is done. Now that everyone's moved on, how about buying Skyrim again?
Today, Bethesda confirmed the release of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim's Legendary Edition, a $59.99 product that comes with all of the game's patches and the three add-on expansions -- Hearthfire, Dawnguard, and Dragonborn. Skyrim's Legendary Edition will be coming to all platforms, too. Just hold onto your horses a wee bit longer, because the Legendary Edition won't be on shelves until June 4 (June 7 in Europe).
See? No more tears. There's still a bit more The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim left for everyone to smile about. Well, okay, the Legendary Edition isn't introducing any new content or anything... and development is still wrapped up... oh dear, the tears are coming again. Bethesda! Please! Start up development again, because I need more Skyrim. Please!
