Bethesda Softworks just dropped their third teaser for a mystery project, along with the promise that the mystery would be revealed tomorrow. After pouring over the first two teasers and some help from Bethesda PR Guru Pete Hines, we know two things: this isn't Fallout related, and these teasers are rather terrifying. The conclusion folk have been coming to is we may be on the verge of Shinji Mikami's survival horror Project Zwei finally being announced.
That, of course, is purely speculation and rumor. Considering the nature of the teasers it's hard to claim the teasers are anything but creepy ass hell right now. Sunflowers burning, mysterious figures in the background, classical music and broadcasts from early in the 1900s were the focus of the first two teasers. This third one... even more mysterious. An object in the sky, growing shadows... the game could be anything really.
Hopefully Bethesda really blows us out of the water tomorrow. They're off to a rough start though, as it seems they've given an exclusive of some sorts to IGN. Nothing like a week of subtle, mysterious teasers wrapping up with a, "Hyuck, like our teasers? Check IGN tomorrow!" announcemnt. Oh, video game industry. Don't communities of all shapes and sizes deserve equal attention? Zwei may be coming, let's not let "The 'dustry" effect our excitement.
