Atlus loves its fans and while they understand it's tough to wait for games to be localized, they try and make up for it with quality. Take Shin Megami Tensei IV for instance, now scheduled for release on July 16 for the 3DS. Instead of just pushing the game out and hoping fans will appreciate it came overseas at all, Atlus is going the extra yard. The first edition of the game will feature a Limited Edition Box Set of the game for the standard $49.99 price. We love you too, Atlus.
Here's the extras that will be included with the first run of Shin Megami Tensei IV:
- Strategy & Design Book - Produced by Prima Games, the book includes walkthroughs, charts, maps, tips and more. The design side of the book features full-color pages of artwork ranging from concept art to in-game pieces to never-used designs from new Shin Magami Tensei series character designer Masayuki Doi.
- Shin Megami Tensei Music Collection - Collection of tracks selected from across the 20-plus-years of the Shin Megami Tensei series. Also includes special recordings exclusive to this specific CD collection.
- Collectible Splitcase Packaging - Deluxe-sized slipcase with full-color key art from Masayuki Doi depicting the divergent paths of law and chaos between which Samurai must travel and make their choices knowing of the potential foes and allies that lay on either side.
Of course, that all comes on top of Shin Megami Tensei IV itself, with countless hours of gameplay, full voice over, street pass functionality and an M rating that promises an intense game like few others. It's all coming exclusively to the 3DS on July 16.
