I cannot for the life of me understand the negative response to the graphics. They look great to me, particularly by MMO standards.

What were you expecting, Skyrim graphics in an MMO?

It doesn't look that bad, people.

It looks fine. Look more at gameplay than graphics.

I highly doubt this game will look as polished as Skyrim, i reckon it'll have Guild Wars sorta look. The screens dont look bad but they dont look great at the same time.

the graphics are one thing but i'd be focusing on the gameplay rather than dwelling on map textures...for example i thought skyrim was going to feel cheap because it was running on the same sorta engine that fallout 3 uses...but i was proven wrong and went on to clock more than 200 hours in skyrim alone.
I'm pretty sure Skyrim used a different engine to what was used in FO3 and NV.

Should have looked like Black Desert Online: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SNFSw107MQs

I mean, the environments, not the dumb anime characters.

I actually like the ugly looking Breton woman, glad you can make ugly people.

I don't think it really looks all that different to other MMOs out there at the moment. If anything, it's a little glossier. I'm still very excited to be jumping into Tamriel with millions of other people!

The graphics look fine to me for early development. Besides that, it's a MMO there is a reason why MMO's have lower graphic fidelity compared to single player games.

Right, not at all a elder scrolls game, because oblivion and morrowind had such beautiful graphics.
Not sure what you're saying; Oblivion and Morrowind's graphics, especially Oblivion's, were considered very good for when they each came out.

These screenshots show alpha quality graphics--the developers are obviously going to improve things before the game is released.

It's official, my computer will explode if I try to play this. I hope you'll be able to turn the graphics down. My computer can't even run Minecraft without Optifine.

I usually don't mind about graphics, but... wow.
This doesn't really feel like a Tamriel realm to me. I wonder how they're going to immerse the story to the audience?
