"Reports are saying that the layoffs will not effect High Moon Studios' progress on its other projects, namely Transformers, and that the layoffs are entirely focused on the Deadpool team."

That doesn't seem likely... High Moon is a small company and most of the Deadpool team is the same team that makes the Transformers games.

"That's a wrap, guys. Good job on the game. Now you're all fired!"

The bigger a company gets, the more room it has for corruption...

I can't even find any official confirmation that this game is being released for PC. The official website only mentions PS3 and XBOX360, and only those versions are available for pre-order from Amazon / Gamestop.

If we boycotted their games, then even more developers like these would get laid off!

It's a shame how this industry works. I guess small indie games are the way to go as a developer. Owell.

I like to believe the dolphins are Activision and they are talking to the Deadpool developers.

Not sure what to make of it tbh. It could mean Activision is just trying to maximize profit over everything else, which is much like them, or they just know the game couldn't break even after release. Either option isn't one I like much.
