I have an MMO confession. I have a severe addiction to interior design when MMOs have player housing. It's not pretty, I'm no professional, but I'd be lying if I haven't spent hours and hours hunting down a specific dumb trinket that would look perfect on my mantelpiece. Imagine my conflicting emotions when Carbine Studios released a DevSpeak trailer showcasing WildStar's player housing features.
Alright, WildStar. You win.
Now only will players be able to evolve their home from a basic camp to a full on house, but virtually every aspect of the house is customizable -- from the windows to, wall textures and so on. Then you can shove all the junk you find on your adventures in it! From what the video shows us, the house interior looks extremely customizable, which foretells the doom of my spare time.
WildStar is tentatively planned for release in 2013 on PC. As far as I've heard, they've currently got no plans laid out for beta or launch, though what with the media campaign they've been running hopefully that will change very soon.
