Logan Cunningham, the voice of Rucks from Bastion, has earned himself quite a following since his work on Supergiant Games' wildly successful action title. So when Supergiant announced their new game, Transistor, you can imagine how badly fans hoped that he would return in some way or another. Well, rest assured that he will.
Cunningham confirmed his involvement with Transistor earlier this week via Twitter. A very brief message on Cunningham's account reads:
To clarify: Yes I am working on Transistor in a vocal capacity.— Logan Cunningham (@GlancingOnHuman) March 19, 2013
Well, there you have it. Granted, we don't know what role he'll be assuming in Transistor, but word is he's going to be playing that big ass sword Red's carrying around. I am totally okay with this, should it prove true.
Supergiant Games announced their new sci-fantasy adventure this week. A beautiful and haunting reveal trailer showed a world with a more futuristic setting, but not quite science fiction. Words in the video implied a crisis had befallen (of course) certain "influential voices" in the city, and the heroine Red is fighting against forces unknown. So excite!
