Capcom's really on a roll today, announcing both DuckTales Remastered and confirming the previously rumored Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara bundle. The package will include Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow Over Mystara and Dungeons & Dragons: Tower of Doom, two four-player co-op brawlers that have oddly enough been forgotten in the dregs of time.
The luckiest of us will recall playing one or both of these games in arcades, pumping quarters into machines like they were our parents and not our own. The unluckiest spent their own money on these money eating machines. I'm not sure if either of them ever reach our shores as console games... err, Shadow Over Mystara was a Sega Saturn game!
Now everyone will get to play these great co-op brawlers sans quarters. Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara will package both games for $14.99, to be released on Steam, XBLA, PSN and the Wii U eShop in June. Expect drop-in/drop-out multiplayer, along with some interesting hack/cheat features.
