Good news for Tales fans who are not in Japan, both Tales of Graces f and Tales of Xillia now have tentative release schedules for North America and Europe. Tales of Graces f, the PlayStation 3 update of the original Wii release, will be coming to PSN on March 26, while Tales of Xillia is planned for release on PlayStation 3 this summer. Still no word on Tales of Xillia 2, but let's wrap up this first game beforehand.
On top of all that Tales news, Namco Tales producer Hideo Baba promised that they've got plenty more lined up for the rest of 2013:
"We’re planning on making this a Tales of filled year, so we have a lot of surprise announcements lined up — stay tuned! Thank you again to all of our fans who have supported us over the years. We hope for your continued support in 2013."
While Tales of Graces f was released in North America just a bit more than a year ago, its PSN release date is actually being treated as just as big of news as the Tales of Xillia news. There's no doubt, Namco considers Tales of Graces to be a big seller, or perhaps they're just worried about the attention they can build for Xillia during the current rush of spring games.
Lets get that Tales of Xillia out, I'm excited for a new title in the Tales series, especially considering it was popular enough to get Namco to develop a sequel quick-like. Just imagine how great the sequel will be!
Check out Tales of Xillia this summer and Tales of Graces f on PSN next Tuesday on March 26, both exclusive to the PlayStation 3.
