Everyone knows its coming, but today marks the official word from DICE and EA to public that Battlefield 4 is on the verge of a full announcement. On March 27, according to a Twitter post on the official Battlefield account, Battlefield 4 will be revealed. Oddly enough, this comes a day after a GDC press event on Battlefield 4. We can probably expect a full day or two of Battlefield 4 hype building.
Here's the full text of the tweet, which includes a link to a sneaks peak of the official Battlefield 4 announcement trailer:

From what we can tell, beyond the date and logo for Battlefield 4, the images included depict a tank rolling out. Are tanks a big deal, Battlefield fans? Does the imagery in this short teaser appeal to your sensibilities? Have you become hooked on orange and blue?
While Battlefield 4 has generally been acknowledged to have been in development since, well, Battlefield 3 was released, it's good that the dang thing will become somewhat more substantive soon. The name has popped up in earnings reports, Gamestop employee Twitter accounts, and some dude named Larry I met in line at In 'n' Out said he played it all the time, too. Get this thing out there so we can start talking about Battlefield 5 already.
