Seems we now know a little more about Techland's upcoming Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, as the downloadable title gets its official reveal today. Expect lots of guns and lots of shooting, all wrapped up in a Wild West theme of revenge.
A new "gameplay" trailer marks the occasion, though I put the word "gameplay" in quotation marks because it's really just bits and pieces of in-game footage cut together in a stylish way. No UI or anything of the sort to give us a sense of how the game would feel from a player's perspective.
In Assassin's Creed fashion, Gunslinger also teases well-known names of history and legend: names like Billy the Kid, Pat Garrett, Jesse James, and so forth. Exciting stuff, if that's your thing. At any rate, it's good to see Call of Juarez has gone back to its native style, though there was no mention of the previously announced protagonist Silas Greaves.

Ubisoft previously released a teaser for Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, with the promise that we'd hear more on March 14, which would be today.
