While EA and Maxis figure out the whole SimCity launch mess, El Presidente has seen his opening and strikes while the competitor is preoccupied. Strategy-simulation franchise Tropico goes on sale this entire week, with up to 75% in discounts on certain Tropico games, expansions, and DLC. Seriously.
On publisher Kalypso Media's own storefront, the entire Tropico trilogy is only $4.99, while Tropico 4 is just $7.49 for the week. Yes, the game does support offline play. If you're willing to shell out a little more, the Tropico 4 Collector's Bundle (includes all DLC, and the Modern Times expansion) is only $10 on Steam, which is also taking part in Kalypso's Tropico week-long markdown extravaganza.
The discounts are good until March 15. Let's see if SimCity gets back on its feet by then. No can accuse EA of doing nothing about that, at least.
