That's cold, even for El Presidente. It's also a damn good deal for aspiring dictators.

Steam should just do a city building sale, they've got plenty of games in that genre.

*bleep* EA.

That's awesome! I was wondering what Tropico was like but $30 was a little steep for me at the moment. $10 w/ alll DLC is pretty legit. Good on them for taking advantage of the situation

Now this is a pretty great deal. Wonder if Cities XL will follow suit.

The only bad thing I have with Cities XL is the rather restrictive building placement and styles available... and some issues with how the roads get laid out.

For £7.49 I'm tempted to try out Tropico 4 since it comes with all it's DLC aswell.

El presidente isn't the only one

EA is gonna need some Aloe Vera for that burn.

I was playing it earlier! Defacto, practically no load time. Still a riot.

Tropico 4 is awesome. I have the original game plus the The Modern Times add on.
I'm loving this game every day. The game's soundtrack is also excellent--perfect Carribean tunes.
This game being on sale is great news for fans.

Keep an eye out on the other city builders, what cromagdude said a month ago has pretty much happened on a nigh weekly basis (according to my wishlist emails, anyways) for a lot of good city builders out there, was a great time for buying stuff. Might keep on going for a bit as well, since I'm not sure SimCity has the same staying power as a lot of its predecessors (but that's likely just me).

As an aside, a great way to avoid playing a (at the time) dysfunctional game is to go to a dysfunctional island. Besides, when your crime-ridden city (that you are secretly funding) eventually rises up in revolt against it's criminal overlords, you'll need practice at running a small corrupt island in the Carribean.
