Friendly faces of Dead Space 3's upcoming Awakened DLC captured in trailer and screenies
"Yo Isaac, why you so crazy bro? lolz"
Ah, nothing takes me back to the original Dead Space than bronze metallic rooms with blood splashed everywhere, in addition to haunting delusions of murder and suicide. Then Carver slaps the back of my head and says, "Isaac, you're so crazy," and I remember this is Dead Space 3's Awakened DLC and not the original game at all. Planned for release on March 12 on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, we've got a new trailer and screenies for you.
I'll say it straight away, everything looks pretty solid -- dudes in burlap sack masks with knives on their hands and obviously self-inflicted cuts. The problem is, well, most of the screenshots and a good portion of the trailer seems to be from one very specific scene. Is this really enough to judge an entire DLC pack off of? It's difficult to tell. Also, just when it started to feel scary, Carver. CAAAAARVEEEEEER!
Dead Space 3 is currently available on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 -- make sure to check out our review from Lydia, who handles spooky games much better than myself. Awakened will be launching on March 12, and while I'd love to say it'll be available on all platforms at the same time, we all know that's unlikely. You might want to buy it if you ever want to see a Dead Space 4.
