Rumor: Game Informer set to reveal Thief 4 for next-gen consoles with tomorrow's cover
Let's take all these other rumors and put them together
A series of teases and rumors have popped up online today that when added together form something quite exciting. It starts with Game Informer promising a big next-gen announcement on their next magazine cover, which will be be revealed tomorrow. It ends with an Eidos community manager also teasing an announcement tomorrow. Perhaps a Deus Ex announcement? Add in a third rumor, that tomorrow's GI cover features a bow and arrow, and boom -- Thief 4.
Alright, so that's the bread crumb trail we've been following. Here are the actual quotations and sources that we've got to look at. Firstly, there's the tease from Game Informer Editor-in-Chief Andy McNamara:
And since people asked, we announce the next cover tomorrow morning, and it's a next gen game I'm personally thrilled to get to reveal.
— Andy McNamara (@GI_AndyMc) March 4, 2013
The next quotation pops up in the Eidos forum about Thief 4, where Community Manage b1skit tries to keep his denizens on-topic:
*ahem* What's this?? You guys are talking about Deus Ex in the Thief forums?? This won't do. Not at all. I'm gonna have to do something about this.............. Something drastic.
Lets reconvene tomorrow. Set your watches, taffers.
Finally, as if that isn't plenty of rumor to form some healthy speculation, there's mention during Game Informer's Test Chamber video for Crysis 3 about their next cover featuring a bow and arrow. It is the year of the bow, after all. And that's as good of a place as any to wrap up the facts and get to the dreams.
Thief 4, tomorrow, Game Informer's cover reveal. Be there or be hiding in the shadows waiting to capitalize on the distraction in order to sneak into Eidos Montreal's headquarters where you can discover the truth behind tomorrow's Thief 4 announcement. Mmm, indeed.
The announcement would confirm rumors that Thief 4 is in development for release next year on the PlayStation 4 and the next Microsoft console. Don't forget about that leaked trailer from last year, either (ps, it's no longer available).

The game was announced in what, 2009? I hope this doesn't turn into a Colonial Marines. Fingers crossed.
I don't care about Graphics just as long as the story & game play hold up like the fist 3 all though I would like the climbing mechanic from assassins creed and some rpg side to it would be really fun so can only hope they don't screw it up like most games these day
Anyway gamers not knowing about something doesn't mean they won't buy it. If anything Skyrim proves that as if 3.5 million played Oblivion, that means at least 6.5 million picked Skyrim up on hype and advertising alone which means prior history means nothing in this industry. Thief could launch next year with 95% of all buyers believing it's a new IP but no one should care as the series gets a second wind, a second chance to flourish which is what counts right?
The greatest stealth series ever and it's not even close
