Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows announced, trailer lacks pizza
It's not Ninja Turtles until there's pizza
Red Fly Studios, developers of Thor: God of Thunder, have a new project coming as a downloadable title to XBLA, PSN and PC. Introducing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, developed from the Nickelodeon license and published by Activision -- the first of many according to word on the street. Expect the third person action game to be released this summer.
From the brief glimpses of gameplay shown in the game's announcement trailer, Out of the Shadows is definitely not your standard arcade-style Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles title. It's third person, it looks to have a combo-based combat system, but I think we can all assume there will be cooperative play of some sort. Otherwise... nah, it'll have cooperative 100%.
Hopefully we'll receive a press release, or hear further details on Teenage Mutant Nina Turtles: Out of the Shadows soon. Otherwise, summer isn't too far away, so not that long of a wait for this XBLX, PSN, PC title. Dibs on Michelangelo.

Anyway, trailer was short and sharp so I'll wait until we see more until I make a decision, but I'm on a real Turtle kick at the moment, so I'll probably pick it up haha.

I think a game in the same vain as the current Batman games would be a great idea, as long as they don't take things too seriously and keep the series staples. TMNT without pizza and "cowabunga dude" is just wrong imo.
