If Hornigold isn't in this, along with a navel mission where you get wasted as *bleep* with your crew, toss your hats overboard, realize your mistake once you've sobered up and board a ship just to take their hats, I am going to sit still for sixteen days and think about the betrayal of the series.

I really wish Ubisoft would stop lying and saying these games are in development for two or three years. It's not true. ACIII was evidence of that.
Considering everything about ACIII was built from the ground up, it's not hard to believe. I just think their bug testing was poorly done.

Saying that, I think the three years is a little too long to spend developing a game because you're more tempted to add more stuff into the mix, which is probably what caused ACIII to have as many problems as it did.

Although this does probably mean those that worked in Revelations went straight into developing this game... and considering the how Revelations actually was...

I speculated that if it was to be about pirates, it would be pre-Revolution.

Words cannot describe the awesomeness of a pirate assassin.

Haven't been disappointed by a numbered AC yet so I'll definitely be looking to pick this up later this year.

This Edward dude looks very unlikable so far... and what's with the schnoze? Seems to be a tradition for the series.
It's part of the genetic makeup of Desmond's ancestry. I've noticed he and all his ancestors have sported a large nose, golden eyes, and a cut/scar on their lip. There's probably other physical details they all share, but that's all I can remember as of now.

Nightmare Samurai Great to hear! As long as they don't rush them and degrade the value of the game or its name, I'll be happy to be getting them.

This is Ubi's response to their leak? Two videos? They are lucky I like Pirates and I will be all over this. >>

I hope there's more to this game than just being a prequel to AC3, or else I'm going to be very disappointed. Also want some modern day resolution as to what happened to the Assassin team after the end of the third game and the identity of the modern day protagonist...

I'm conflicted on this one, for one I'm tired of Ubi releasing yearly AC titles, especially after they promised they'd stop after ACIII. On the other hand, I have yet to be disappointed by the series, and pirates are awesome! (Not to be stereotypical.)
Well ACIII and this one were in development for a while, their yearly release just worked itself out.

The new hero dude Edward Kenway and the lots of pirates sounds interesting. Hope all these pirate mixes, sailing and open seas would be enough to keep the AC franchise up.
I'd still like to see more of the most famous pirate of all -- Blackbeard, in this series.
