A short delay will be coming to the North American and UK releases of Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory. Published and localized by NIS America, the oh-so-Japanese RPG will now be released on March 21 in North America, March 22 in the UK, but retain its original March 12 release date in the rest of Europe. While it's only a nine day delay, hopefully fans won't be too disappointed waiting an extra week.
While NIS America didn't supply a reason for the delay, it likely has more to do with either shipping or marketing rather than any sort of content issues. After all, it's not like NIS would delay the game so close to release for a simple localization issue that could be easily patched. I'm betting the title's localization has been content complete for a while now. It's just necessary to make sure the nerds who would love Victory know about it -- and receive it.
Look forward to the PlayStation 3 exclusive Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory, now on March 21. The eccentric RPG starring young ladies who represent the various current-gen consoles, battling through dungeons and generally waging war upon another may surprise you. Expect a preview from us within the next week.
