Hi there!

You seem to have made a bit of a mistake in your post. Luckily, the users of Neoseeker are always willing to help you clear this problem right up! You appear to have mentioned pirating a game, when game sales are the primary support for game developers! Whoops! You should always remember to purchase games to support developers unless you want your favorite video game series to come to an abrupt halt! When a developer doesn't sell physical copies of a game, there becomes less of a demand for said game, slowly killing the developer! This being said, posting about piracy on a video game forum is poor form.

Now, there's no need to thank me - I'm just doing my bit to help you get used to the video-game forum culture!

Duncan Idaho, Monster Hunter is one of the few series you should never pirate. Unlike some western games, this series has yet to completely sell out to share holders for that extra profit. If you vote with your wallet that the model of free dlc and online play works, then some of other publishers will get the point and stop with the mindless paid dlc crap and make games that can last hundreds of hours. If I remember correctly, Monster Hunter Tri was only on the Wii in the first place was because of budget issues making the game not refined enough for the ps3 and 360. By pirating, you would be decreasing the quality of any and all future Monster Hunter games and gaming in general for everyone.

There is a sligth issue you see, where i live there are no nintendo retailers, the only authorized retailers were sold on 2006 since nintendo gave two *bleep*s about 99% of south america, the only left one store and it's on brazil, avaible seller buy these games en masse and then sell them for over inflated prices, then i am only left with the option of pirating since i dont want to spend what i earn on a single month on two games (games like brawl reached 3/4 of a minimum wage, on the other thand said price was 1/4 away of what the wii costs) so you see i am unable to support the developers, oh you say order from amazon? i can only get 400$ yearly which then i have to pay to the government since i am borrowing from them the dollars,

Is it safe to assume that where your at most games are a bit too expensive? I'm not defending piracy here, but I do know that in some countries consoles and games are often 2x-3x more expensive so I can understand why some people do it.

*edit*
Never mind, you beat me too it.
