Back when THQ auctioned off its assets and studios, some franchises weren't fortunate enough to find a new home. However, all is not lost as all remaining THQ assets have been divided up into lots for another auction. Franchises like Homeworld, Darksiders, Red Faction, Titan Quest, Destroy All Humans, and plenty of others should soon have new homes, and hopefully new entries.
All the Red Faction games, the two Homeworld games, MX games (like MX vs ATV: Reflex), and the Darksiders series receive their own separate lots, while other titles and licensed software get the grab bag treatments. The other titles include the aforementioned Titan Quest and Destroy All Humans games, plus de Blob, Drawn to Life, uDraw, and more. Licensed software consists of Costume Quest, Supreme Commander 1 and its expansion, Nexuiz, assorted Worms titles, and others.
Initial bids for the lots are due on April 1, with final bids placed by April 15. Based on court approval, everything THQ once owned should be gone by the middle of May. Hopefully the studios that grab up some of the franchises, like Darksiders, Red Faction, and even Homeworld, can treat them right.
