More than likely timed DLC for Battlefield 4 next year, this won't get many people to buy the console though as it's hardly an exclusive game. Microsoft need to focus on exclusive titles especially when Sony are talking about all 12 of their studios making PS4 games, if you consider a typical IP gets atleast 1-2 sequels in a generation Sony are looking at that decision yielding about 40 exclusives in the next 6-7 years which is incredible. Microsoft don't look like they have that, just some Battlefield 4 content that will probably hit PS4 a week or two after launch anyway lol.

I bet the 720 will be the downfall of the console. Let it crash and burn like sega. Good riddance.

I can't think of any AAA game EA has made in the last year off the top of my head that I own, so this wouldn't impress me. If they are just getting console-rights to DLC early, then that sounds more like something Microsoft would do.

That's a stupid comment. Competition is good for gamers. Being loyal to a billion dollar company is ridiculous and benefits you in no way.

Maybe if Microsoft stop annoying gamers by delaying content releases and instead use that alloted money to develop meaningful game experiences outside of Gears, Halo and Forza they'll have a pitch against (or at least equalise) with Sony on next gen. Maybe they'll even find a use for Kinect other than slicing fruit...

It was all about timing huh, so that's code for who threw the most money at them right?

Also lol timed exclusive DLC, not really gonna be what decides which console I go for.

That's only part of one editor's speculation. Could be anything, altho I highly doubt a company like EA would sign on exclusive with Microsoft.

I don't really see what else it could be, EA are greedy mofos, doubt it'll be anything else tbh. I wasn't taking the editor's speculation as fact, just saying EA are too greedy for them to do something else.

Out of all the companies you could deal with, why would you choose EA? Microsoft, this is sad...

Is the Xbox still only using the code name Durango or is that the official name now?

It's the last code name leaked to the public and until we have word of a new code name or the official name it's easier to use Durango or 720, it's something gamers know at this point. I don't see the final console being called the Xbox Durango though, I could see it being called the Xbox Infinity or something a long those lines though.

Lol how it is a stupid comment? It could very well be true. And good riddance to any console that tries to do something as invasive as put a camera in my living space to count how many people are in it. The 720 Does not seem to be offering anything new and exciting, And with the OUYA making its debut this year/Wii U/Ps4 looking better and better the xbox seems it could be on it's way out. And good riddance for the bs they are trying to pull with the new kinect.

tbh, the OUYA isn't really threatening anyone, not even the Wii.
Plus the Wii U isn't doing so hot atm.
