PlayStation All-Stars recruits Isaac Clarke and Zeus for upcoming DLC, now with trailers
Update Now with non-exclusive trailer
While developers SuperBot may no longer be working on PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, Santa Monica Studio is still hard at work on upcoming DLC. IGN talked with Sony community guru Seth Killian, catching the exclusive on the announcement, revealing upcoming DLC characters Zeus, from God of War (and various titles) and Dead Space's Isaac Clarke. No price yet, but if previous DLC is any indicator they'll each be $4.99.
Also shown was a new map styled after a combination of Unfinished Swan and MediEvil. The map mixes MediEvil's first graveyard stage, with zombies and gargoyle for flair. The Unfinished Swan portion of the map turns the map from a flat stage into a complex mixture of platforms and inkblots. Map costs are typically lower than characters as far as DLC is concerned, perhaps costing $1.99.
Isaac Clarke will be a mid-range comboer with a good number of projectiles that will be solid for Nathan Drake players and Zeus is a muscled brawler that excels at close range, but is quick and deadly anywhere given the right situation. And so PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale content continues to stream out, hopefully keeping fans intent on the franchise's future -- if it has one.
Look for a trailer and screenshots either later today or later this week, depending on the exclusivity agreement IGN made with Sony.

A sequel seems unlikely at this point, but that is what I'm really hoping for.
Get ready for some serious firepower.
I would still love to see Ellen and Keats make an appearance, but sadly, I don't see this happening.
Anyways, weren't the last DLC characters free?
Zeus seems odd as well. Why not just get a more requested character? Oh yes.... I forgot... they love God of War...
Excited about the Medievil stage though. Looks fun.
The game isnt about all stars, and bringing you to the game- its about making you go to it.
It worked for me, I've played far more of these games than I otherwise would have. But I wonder how far this goes? What casual player buys this and is happy about it?
To be honest, I am more disappointed with the use of Zeus as a character than Isaac Clarke, mainly because we already have a God of War character, and I'd rather see stuff from other franchises like Spyro, Heavy Rain, Crash Bandicoot, Final Fantasy, Motorstorm, etc.
I may still get this DLC anyway, because regardless of what a lot of people seem to think, I love this game. I will certainly get it if it's free for two weeks like the last one (of course, only the characters, and not the stages or minions, were free). Still, both characters look pretty fun.
It may as well be "Video Game All Stars Battle Royale"
