Am I the only one who doesn't care because i can't finish AC3 due to the fact that it's broken as hell. no update has fixed it for me, in fact every update has made it worse. every time i'm in a conflict all i hear is a cannon being fired in a brass echo chamber not to mention the freezing and the npc getting stuck in walls and trees therefore not letting me complete the mission. so not looking forward to this game.

Going by the year on that map, that rumour of the new assassin being Edward Kenway, father to Haytham Kenway, rings true then...

Isn't that a place in AC 2 ? I even remember climbing that little tower on the background and leaping straight into that lake 0_o

That's because that image from of AC2. Pretty sure that's the mission where Ezio first meet/saved Caterina Sforza.

All of this is still conjecture at this point. I'm surprised we haven't heard anything about the Assassin's Creed event that went down yesterday.

Am I the only one thinking this could possibly be a spin off title with the release of Assassin's Creed IV? We've only had subtitled games as series releases (Ezio Saga) or if it was a spin off (Assassin's Creed III: Liberation)? Seems off they would go straight into AC4 with a subtitled release considering they haven't done it before.

Sure, the confirmation of the game is a little premature considering the release of Assassin's Creed III was about 4 months ago, now. But, don't forget; it's not like we're getting this game right now. By the time it'll actually release we'll probably be more than ready for another AC title.

Ubisoft are giving us plenty of time to breathe, but giving themselves plenty of time to build up hype as well.

What i meant was give Assassin's Creed series a break of one or two year so that we would have demanded another installment in the franchise. Like you, I am also a big fan of Assassin's Creed games. But, it makes me sad to see the games losing their innovation that they had.

How can you know of a games innovation before anything about it has even been announced?

Assassin's Creed games have always been stand out titles for people. Everyone is just hating on it after the recent release of AC3 was riddled with bugs. Whilst I also complained, a game of that size and scale was bound to have launch problems. It's just the rushed ending I was miffed about. Seems absolutely appauling they spend 3 years developing this game and THAT was all they could come up with? A 10 minute anticlimatic end sequence? Ok Ubisoft.

Has anyone else picked this poster up? You get it from pre-ordering at Gamestop here in the U.S. This is by far one of the best video game posters I've ever seen, the other side is some gorgeous artwork by Todd McFarlane. I just picked mine up half an hour ago!
